This book appears to be in near fine condition. This particular copy has a mylar dustjacket of relatively recent vintage that continues to protect this beautiful volume.
According to Donovan and Jerris, British Golf Links is "a stunning large-format book (12 3/4" x 9 1/2") lavishly illustrated with remarkable photographs of 51 of Britain’s finest golf courses as well as three in France". This is one of the most elaborate, beautifully illustrated books in the early literature of the game. It provides a fascinating look at many pre-1900 courses, clubhouses, significant golf personalities, and typical golfers in England and Scotland. This is a fine copy of another heavy-weight in the early literature of the game.
