Alexander G. Day was the professional at Royal Belfast between 1888 and 1907. The two circa 1895 AG Day-stamped clubs offered here are a matching pair of his and hers transitional drivers. The men's driver measures 43" and the women's driver measures 41 1/2".  Both appear to be unused.  The sheepskin grips,  shafts, whipping, finish, are untouched original on both clubs.  You can't go wrong collecting quality and prime condition.

Collectors can find men's transitional drivers and women's transitional drivers from the 1890s. But an exquisite matching pair there were never used?  These two drivers just might be the only such set.
