Offered here is an early 1900s 8-inch tall Hubley Cast Iron Doorstop.

The Hubley Manufacturing Company began in 1894 and produced cast iron toys and household objects such as bookends and doorstops. Their products were painted by hand. 

The back of this cast iron doorstop is marked with a factory impressed “CN” and "84" which is an idenfying mark or sorts, such as wouid indicate the mold used to form this piece.

Condition as shown in the images.  Original paint shows wear. This is the genuine item and not a later reproduction.
