Forged by Tom Stewart of St. Andrews and sold by D&W Auchterlonie also of St. Andrews, this putting cleek is characterized by a large raised "bar" that runs across the middle of the back of the blade. This would position the most of the head's weight behind the center of the ball at impact. This club was likely promoted as able to provide an extra solid feel at impact, or to impart more power at impact, or to improve the roll of the ball....or all of those things! 34" original shaft and leather-wrapped grip. A very nice, rare Stewart putter.
