Produced by JB Halley in 1911, this Halley’s Ball with its six-pole bramble pattern is in mint condition. It features a beautiful, original red paint with a green dot on both poles. Golfers used red balls when frost or light snow covered the ground, and sometimes when daisies were in bloom. Red golf balls also came in handy if there were lots of sandy areas spread round the course. 

This Mint Halley's ball with its original paint luster just as brilliant as it was on the day it was made is the nicest condition red antique golf ball that the auctioneer can remember ever seeing. Absolutely Brilliant!
