"Park's celebrated 'Dispatch'" golf ball was advertised by A.W. Gamage Ltd in the May 5, 1911 issue of Golf Illustrated at approximately a 33% below retail. Gamage had purchased the complete London stock of "Willie Park's famous golf clubs and balls," and was selling everything at clearance prices. That would have been a sale worth attending!
The Dispatch bramble ball offered here is in excellent condition. It shows us, but its gutta percha cover still looks great!
