Covered under Walfred Lindgren's September 7, 1926 US Patent, this Lindgren multiface putter/chipper is six clubs in one! The hosel can tilt back and forth, allowing both the line-scored lofted face and the cross-scored straight face to be used either right-handed, left-handed, or croquet style. When the hosel is adjusted, a strip of spring steel inside the head, behind the removable face, applies pressure to the base of the hosel and holds the hosel in place.
The 36 1/2 " shaft is original as is the leather wrap grip. A great deal of creativity and extra engineering goes into a mechanical club, and that makes mechanical clubs like this one such great collectibles.
