This circa 1875 putter was made by the Grand Old man of Golf and 4-time British Open champion Tom Morris. The 37 1/4" shaft appears original and is fitted with a beatufiul old sheepskin grip. The finish appears to have been cleaned up and given a light coat of varnish applied over the entire head.
Tom Morris is well known as the Grand Old Man of Golf. When he died in 1908, he was a living legend. Today, his legacy continues unabated. This club is a fine example made by a famous master of his craft.
This club is in the accompanying 10-putter group image.
