John White Patent Duplex Putter with 35 1/2-inch original shaft and sheepskin grip. The opening in the sole appears to be filled with gutta percha, and possible well up inside the aluminum head as well, as evidenced by the small chip in the heel of the sole which shows more of the same material inside the head. The head is in wonderful condition, showing little bag wear.
