This lot consists of 4 different vintage metal tees. Metal tees were short lived, their durability feature loosing out to their destructive nature. The tees were so strong that they could damage both the golfers clubs and the course superintendent's mowers. Consequently, metal tees are eminently collectible today.
The first tee in this lot is made from Sterling silver and is marked "Sterling" on its side. The last metal tee in this lot was produced as a keepsake for the 1981 Golf Collectors Society meeting and is marked "GCS 1981" on its side.
