Update 5-10-23 I
just received an image of another one of these balls only it is marked
"Championship" with a large "C" in the middle of its name. The maker is
unknown, but at least we know there is another ball out there and it
has a name. Consequently, the lot desciption that follows is slightly modified from its original wording.
This ball is unmarked, but it sports a unique pattern of recessed and raised triangles, the triangles are also oriented to form "ridges" all over the ball in various directions.
Given that this ball has what appears to counterproductive aerodynamics, one can easily image that this ball would fly off course or not as far as other balls.....Frankly, the ball would inspire even less confidence than a Faroid! it looks like the ridges, which form somewhat of a random pattern overall would catch the air as opposed to a simple uniform recessed pattern that would help the ball stay airborn and on track during its flight. But when this ball was made, ball makers had to try things before they knew for sure they had a loser! In Outstanding overall condition.
